What can I expect during treatment?
We are here to help you as much as possible.
Part of the treatment is helping you understand what is going on with your feet, as we believe that to be half the cure.
The other half is talking about what ever is on Elan's mind, which is mostly based on luck.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
We have appointments available from 7.20am until 6.40pm, and we are often fully booked. However we will accommodate all urgent cases to the best of our abilities and time constraints. Please just call and ask.
Will my insurance cover my visit?
Rebates differ. Please contact your health fund to determine rebates. We can provide you with the relevant information.
We accept nearly all major health insurance cards through HICAPS:
HBF
Medibank
HIF
BUPA
etc
Do we Bulk-Bill?
Yes we do.
But:
There are fewer healthcare practices that do this for several reasons. We only ask that patients respect our Attendance Policy.Â
All patients are required to provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. We offer a reminder call, but it is not a rebooking service. We expect patients to take responsibility for their own appointments. The Attendance Policy is on display in the office and is part of the New Patient form. Please, we just ask for fairness.
Missed appointments or late cancellations attract a fee.
Can I make an on-line booking?
Yes you can! Please click the button at the top of the page.
We much prefer talking to you directly to discuss your needs so that we can set aside the right time to look after you.
How Covid-safe are you?
We still get asked this! Quite. The treatment room has a high-volume UV- air steriliser and an air extractor. Masks are optional though if you're not feeling well it would be wise to consider rescheduling.
What's with your Website?
The previous site was several generations old, but it was warm and fuzzy. Elan makes the websites himself, so set your expectations accordingly! Please let us know if you have any issues with it. It is certainly a beta-version. I wonder what Nicky Jurd would say - I challenge her to find this!
What are your open-hours?
At this time we are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7.20am until 7pm and Fridays 9am until 3pm.
